About

Tyler Veit is a Director at Stax in the Chicago office where he advises corporate and private equity clients on growth strategy and M&A.

At Stax, Veit is responsible for leading engagements including M&A due diligence, opportunity identification and prioritization, go-to-market strategy development, and business model development. Veit works across industries with a focus on business services, technology, industrial products and services, real estate, and consumer / retail.

Prior to joining Stax, Veit worked for the management consulting arm of Capgemini and advised large corporate clients on strategy and operations initiatives ranging from go-to-market strategy to operating model design. Tyler also developed extensive financial underwriting experience as an analyst for Equus Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity fund.

Veit holds an M.B.A in finance, strategy & entrepreneurship from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.B.A in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Extracurricular

Food and water are all Tyler needs to stay happy. When he’s not visiting various Ramen shops or trying to perfect his breakfast sandwich recipe, Tyler goes boating or ice skating at the park with his wife and two young children.
