About

Tyler Veit is a Partner at Grant Thornton Stax in the Chicago office where he leads the firm's Business Services vertical.


Tyler leads engagements across the private equity investment lifecycle including M&A due diligence, opportunity identification and prioritization, go-to-market strategy development, and business model development. He brings substantial expertise across tech-enabled services, professional advisory services, and commercial and facility services.


Prior to joining Grant Thornton Stax, Veit worked for the management consulting arm of Capgemini and advised large corporate clients on strategy and operations initiatives ranging from go-to-market strategy to operating model design. Tyler also developed extensive financial underwriting experience as an analyst for Equus Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity fund.


Veit holds an M.B.A in finance, strategy & entrepreneurship from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.B.A in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Extracurricular

Food and water are all Tyler needs to stay happy. When he’s not visiting new restaurants or trying to perfect his breakfast sandwich recipe, Tyler goes boating or ice skating at the park with his wife and three young children.
