About

Miguel Patino is the Chief Information Officer of Stax, where he leads technology efforts across the firm. He has a B.A. in Business Information Systems from Georgia State University and holds a black belt in Six Sigma Design and is certified in Kepner-Tregoe PS-DM. 

 

Most recently, Miguel was the CIO/CTO for Riley Exploration, supporting the firm’s acquisition, development, and production of fossil fuels and transformed Riley’s technology from a single, vulnerable server room to a redundant and resilient, cloud-driven infrastructure. He has also spent time at CBS and NBC performing various crucial tasks related to their technological infrastructures.​​

Extracurricular

Miguel has some fairly common passions— being with his family, traveling, and biking; but what really sets him apart is his love for skating. Not only does his daily commute involve two miles of skating, but he has even been quoted in a New York Times article about his hobby.
