At Grant Thornton Stax, Marissa supports and leads the day-to-day execution of more than 25 software-focused engagements each year. Her work spans buy-side diligence, exit planning, and strategic initiatives, with a focus on enterprise software, cloud services and infrastructure, cybersecurity, and B2B software.


Prior to joining Grant Thornton Stax, Marissa led over 40 corporate strategy engagements at Kaiser Associates, where she worked closely with clients on high-impact business decisions and market assessments.


Marissa holds a B.A. in Economics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University.

Extracurricular

Outside of the office, Marissa enjoys exploring local parks and pup-friendly spots with her energetic dog, Avvy. In the colder months, she can be found skiing all over New England and out West. She’s also a passionate advocate for childhood literacy, having co-authored a children’s book to support early education programs.
