About

Sagar Bansal is a Managing Director in our London office, with over a decade of experience advising private equity clients on commercial due diligence, value creation, and growth strategies. He specializes in the Fintech, Financial Services software, tech-enabled services, and RegTech sectors. 


Prior to joining Grant Thornton Stax, Sagar held senior consulting roles at EY-Parthenon and OC&C, where he advised private equity and corporate clients on high-profile deals in the Financial Services technology and software sectors. His expertise spans leading buy-side and sell-side due diligence projects and driving strategic growth initiatives for both large and mid-cap private equity clients across the U.K., Western, and Northern Europe. 


Sagar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and an MBA from INSEAD Business School, France. 

Extracurricular

Sagar is a tennis enthusiast who has played the sport professionally. Always eager to hit the court, he enjoys playing with friends, clients, and colleagues. Alongside his love for tennis, Sagar is an avid traveler, having explored over 40 countries.
