Mihaela Dumea is a Director at Stax, with over 14 years of financial operations and strategy experience covering private equity and Fintech.

At Stax, Dumea leads the analytics, reporting, and financial planning processes with a focus on aligning growth and strategy plans with operations and working to drive data accuracy, maximize results, and deliver high-value insights to empower meaningful decision making.

Prior to joining Stax, Mihaela worked in the private equity and Fintech sectors including positions at Investors Exchange (IEX) and Bain Capital.

Dumea holds an MBA from Boston University and a B.S. in Accounting from University of Massachusetts.

Extracurricular

Mihaela enjoys exploring different aspects of the mind and mental health through activities like yoga, meditation, painting, and alternative healing. She also enjoys cooking and decorating – the latter usually involving her recently acquired but large plant collection.
