Joe Anderson is an Associate Director in our Chicago office, where he helps clients on engagements with heavy data and analytics components, throughout the deal cycle. Joe is an analytics expert with over 15 years leading teams of analysts and data scientists. He has worked in a broad set of industries, including healthcare, technology, financial services, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Stax, Joe built an analytics capability at a private equity-backed firm to help the CEO identify ways to reduce working capital to help finance acquisitions. Joe has applied analytics to other problems during the deal cycle, including selecting real estate locations, forecasting business performance and business cycle sensitivity, and evaluating the financial performance of potential business acquisitions.
Joe holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, is a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.

Sometimes we think Joe is too overqualified for us–not only does he have an MBA, a JD, and a BA in Mathematics; he’s even a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and spends his time volunteering with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic.
