About

Ben Bugg is an Associate Director at Stax, based in London, and leads U.K. PE Mid-Market. Ben has over twelve years of growth strategy and due diligence experience as an investor and consultant to private equity.​

Ben joined Stax from CIL where he focused on Technology, Business Information & Services, and the Industrials sectors. Prior to this, Ben led Strategy & Transaction Advisory for a leading consultancy in the energy sector – he was a board advisor to the energy multinationals and energy disruptors. ​

Ben started his career as an investor, co-managing multi-billion unconstrained global funds for Legal & General Investment Management and Nomura Asset Management. This included investments in Financial Services, Technology, Energy, Consumer & Retail, Business Information & Services, and Industrials. Ben was also the lead for derivative investment strategies. He holds a Masters in Finance from Durham University and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Lancaster University​.

Extracurricular

Ben is a yachtmaster, and proud of it. He spends his summers sailing the Mediterranean and enjoying the refreshing sea breeze.
