The Stax Development Corporation creates new companies and joint ventures. Our portfolio is balanced between projects that deliver both profit and social benefit, and pure value-maximizing businesses and JVs.
We leverage our strategy consulting firm’s industry knowledge of market white spaces, and its relationships with more than 100 global private equity funds and a long list of global corporate clients to put together these ventures. The best analogy is that of a sophisticated real estate development corporation or merchant bank, which identifies opportunities and brings together multiple parties to create a new and proprietary project with shared interests.
Stax’s Dev Corp is a natural extension of our consulting work that is action-oriented, and assists clients in driving innovation focused on value creation.
With all of the capital available from Stax’s consulting relationships and the credibility we’ve gained from delivering actionable results for clients in the past, we’re not constrained by deal size or investment strategy. Impact and value are our measures. We can look at opportunities with a clean sheet and develop the best approach.
The deals in progress range from capital efficient technologies in education and healthcare, requiring millions, to infrastructure plays requiring hundreds of millions. We’re in active discussions and projects in industries such as agriculture, consumer/retail, education, energy, financial services and healthcare.
