Examples of Engagements:
- Lifetime Value Analysis. Developed a lifetime value analysis for a leading institute on diabetes, which enabled the Institute to prove the effectiveness of their program on patient outcomes and to enter into a successful joint venture. Stax helped this Client evaluate its current operational model and assessed its medical and economic outcomes and value over the lifecycle of a patient receiving care (10 to 20 year cycle of care).
- Customer Understanding. A client in healthcare drew on our findings to understand the choices made, as well as prospective decisions, by senior citizens in the U.S. regarding Part D Medicare enrollments. The Client further used our capabilities to gain insight into whether service continues to provide little opportunity for differentiation, or if consumer attitudes toward service are changing. By using targeted internet surveys and phone interviews to reach specific demographic groups, we also provided the Client with a greater understanding of potential formulary construction, consumer education and marketing.
- Global Product & Pricing Strategy. Using the granular understanding of global end market sizes and customer segmentation developed by Stax, a medical device manufacturer substantively adjusted its R&D, marketing, training and sales approach across Europe and the U.S. for fast improvement. Over 12 weeks, Stax analyzed past company records, assessed the competitive landscape, and conducted more than 1,300 interviews in 11 countries to develop a segmentation scheme that was understandable both financially and qualitatively.
