Examples of Engagements:

  • Green Strategies. A utility company used Stax’s recommendations to create additional opportunities for reduced consumption and increased cost recovery with Energy Savings Recapture. We evaluated industry practices on demand side management (DSM) programs for reducing energy consumption, and determined which programs had the highest customer adoption, efficacy and payback. Stax also analyzed the Client’s internal data to develop a baseline for DSM program performance.
  • Due Diligence. Cautioned a client looking to invest in a company which develops a variety of applications for the energy industry, that the target showed limited growth potential despite its currently stable customer base. Stax concluded this after assessing the competitive landscape, mapping adoption of third-party software and customer buying patterns in the energy space, and evaluating the vendor selection process. After listening to our full findings on the target company, the Client decided to look elsewhere for investment in the space.
  • Channel Prioritization. A manufacturer of wind energy equipment identified promising channel options using Stax’s recommendations. We evaluated and prioritized a range of potential go-to-market channels for one of their key products in North America, so that the Client could translate those choices into channel value propositions and near-term plans. Our insights were based on extensive discussions with Client management, existing channel partners, dealers, distributors and beta customers, as well as thorough analysis of secondary data.
