With long-standing client relationships, leading-edge analytics, and a flexible service offering that is highly valued in the marketplace, Stax is growing rapidly.

Working at Stax
Our offices are close-knit; we maintain a collegial office atmosphere.  Stax people are proactive—they get into something and work it because they want to see a useful outcome for the clients, themselves, and the firm.  Stax engagements are short-to-medium-term in nature—which means our people are accustomed to getting up to speed quickly.  They have the opportunity to work on many aspects within one industry or learn about many industries, and they interact with a broad range of companies and investors.

Full-time Positions
We're looking for associates, consultants, and managers with a range of skill sets—from deeply quantitative to those who can translate quantitative and qualitative elements into actionable items for clients.  Strong communication skills required.  We prefer candidates who have at least some experience—ideally in a consulting, strategy, marketing, or otherwise analytical role.  Stax's entrepreneurial environment offers our people the opportunity to stretch within client engagements and contribute to firm operations.  We possess a wide range of in-house expertise, which we continually grow via internal learning, training, and recruitment of great people.

Contract Positions
Maybe you're a consultant who's tired of playing road warrior, someone with great research and writing skills looking for steady but flexible work on the side—an independent consultant looking for ways to augment your pipeline, or a recent undergrad or MBA looking to get into consulting.  You're smart, you're curious, and you have drive.  If so, Stax is for you.

We continually seek researchers, experienced analysts, and strategy consultants for contract assignments at several levels.  Good interpersonal skills, the ability to pick up on business issues swiftly, and a strong work ethic are required.  Writing and analytic skills are an advantage and highly valued, although not required for all engagements.  The engagements in which we leverage our contract consultants are varied and interesting; scheduling can be flexible; pay is competitive; and you are guaranteed to learn while working with us.

Typical Stax projects include:

• Primary and original research in support of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Participation in developing a range of business analyses.
• Participation in team meetings, project summaries, and—potentially—presentations and discussions with Stax clients.
