Position Overview

As a contract associate at Stax’s Chicago office, you will be a critical member of a project team, providing analytic support to consultants and managers.  You will collect and analyze market data from a variety of primary and secondary sources and collaborate with team members to develop insights and recommendations based on your analyses. Typical assignments will include market opportunity evaluations, private equity due diligence, and operating company growth strategy development.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience as a business consultant and who wants to work in a very entrepreneurial environment.  

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Prior consulting experience highly desired but not required.
• Excellent strategic thinking, understanding of business research and analysis.
• Effective communication and interviewing skills.
• Strong presentation writing skills in PowerPoint and Word.
• Sense of humor a must.
