Paul is a Managing Director at Stax and leads our Boston office. With almost 20 years of experience in global strategy consulting, Paul also leads Stax’s Private Equity practice, which supports over 150 transactions and growth-strategy projects a year for private equity firms and their portfolio companies across five continents, counting, among others, 12 of the top 20 global private equity firms as clients.
Paul’s expertise includes validating investments and developing strategy across the industrial/manufacturing, agriculture, education, technology, and transportation/logistics sectors. With experience in directly leading the evaluation of over 250 assets for more than 40 Private Equity firms during his time at Stax, A much-published thought leader, Paul is often sort as an expert on Private Equity and the commercial due diligence process. Among other recognitions, he was named a “40-under-40” award winner in 2014 by M&A Advisor, and awarded Most Outstanding M&A Advisor by Corporate Livewire in 2015.
Prior to joining Stax, Paul spent eight years in strategy consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, BtG UK, and Aperian Global, where he advised Fortune 500 clients in the US and EU on cross-cultural competencies and multinational leadership. He has also advised multinational clients in aerospace, transportation, and defense markets at STS Research Group.
Paul holds an M.B.A. from the European School of Business Management (UK), and a B.S. in Material Science and Industrial Management from the University of Wales.
